Two years ago, we founded the first edition of this event. It was important for us to create a space where young creators feel comfortable and where the barrier to showcasing their work is low.

Additionally, we believe it’s essential for artists to become aware of their own value as creator and of their work. Creating art is a vulnerable process, often coming from a personal place, which can sometimes make it difficult to fully recognize the value of one's work.

Another key goal was to build a network where different disciplines could learn from each other. Knowledge is crucial: by stepping into each other's bubbles of passion and expanding our understanding, we truly grow. This also ties into our ambition to build bridges to other cultures, which we successfully achieved in Mexico in 2022.

In April 2024, we had the opportunity to realize the third edition at Schuur in Haarlem during the annual art route ‘Over de Brug en Terug.’ Nine young artists were part of the selection, with disciplines ranging from painting, drawing, film, fashion, ceramics, and photography. Last November we had our fourth edition at The Nieuwe Vide in Haarlem.

We are incredibly proud of the previous editions and look forward to many more successful ones in the future—hopefully with an even broader and more international reach.
